Piano Linn Japanese Garden Solo Piano
Winner - Music Makes a Difference Award
Looking forward to many more years of service
This enchanting little solo captures the sound of wind chimes gently chiming in a summer garden. The single–line melody, performed one octave higher than written in quarters and half notes, passes easily between the hands in flowing legato phrases. The student is encouraged to hold the dampler pedal down throughout for effect. An optional teacher accompaniment provides imaginative support, its bell–like accompaniment, in graceful, rolled chords and tinkling eighth notes, written well above the student part. Equally successful as a stand–alone solo, or as a duet. Hal Leonard Student Piano Library Level 1 (Early Elementary). 4/4; Andante tempo; keyboard guide for hand position; Middle–C orientation; no lyrics.
