This is the Series 3 Gloss tenor from Kala's Elite line made in California. The 3 Series has the most highly figured koa. This one is gorgeous! It also has the upgraded top and back binding, ebony fingerboard, bridge, and faceplate. It also features the Gold closed back Kala geared tuners with acacia buttons.

Kala uses the same UV finish that other companies like Kanile'a or Taylor Guitars use. It's a smooth, glassy, perfect finish. Kala keeps the neck satin for smooth sliding and comfort. The finish shows off the figuring.
