Alto Saxophone w/ Piano Bach's Two Minuets

Looking forward to many more years of service
J.S. Bach is responsible for the two most popular minuets ever written and both just happen to be in the key of G. These two minuets have many similarities, not only because they are in the same key but each one of them seems to be an extension of the other and this is the reason, we chose to combine them into one melodic masterpiece arranged for Alto Sax and Piano.
Initially, each of the themes is clearly stated in their original form and bantered back and forth between the pianist and the soloist. Then as the piece develops both melodic themes are intermingled, one playing over the other resulting in a crowd pleasing finale.
Two Minuets by Johann Sebastian Bach is a brilliant display of how counterpoint was typically used in the Baroque era and this original, arranged for Alto Sax and Piano by Jonathon Robbins is magnificent!
