The 65MDV is similar to a Bach 10-1/2C, but with a deeper cup. You can also think of it as a scaled down Bach 5C.
It is an excellent choice for an orchestral mouthpiece when a slightly smaller diameter rim is desired. The cup depth of the 65MDV maintains a dark sound despite the medium sized diameter.
