The Wedge 64ES fills the same niche for a small diameter as the Schilke 10A4A and similar mouthpieces. The Schilke 10A4A is the big brother of the 6A4A, having the same extra shallow cup depth and a slightly larger ID to give a bit more room.
This extra shallow mouthpiece with a slightly larger ID than the 6A4A and 63ES, provides better flexibility and more room for swelling.
