Looking forward to many more years of service
The composer doesn?t know what inspired her to write a collection of beginner solos about insects, but she grew much fonder of the creepy little creatures after trying to imagine herself in the bug?s position. These Elementary solos are the next level up from the Early Elementary book by the same name. They are for students who can now change hand positions during the same piece, as well as play hands together with greater ease. There are a couple minor-key positions to explore, and even an opportunity to work with dotted rhythms (see Gotta Cockaroacho). Along with delightful lyrics, these motivating solos feature colorful teacher accompaniments adding to the fun and perfect for public performance! Most of the pieces are upbeat and can be mastered quickly, providing much fun and entertainment.
