In April 1955, Vincent Bach crafted six C trumpets for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Four were handpicked by members of the trumpet section and remain in use today, owned by the Orchestra. Nearly fifty years later, Conn-Selmer has introduced the Bach Stradivarius C180SL229CC "Chicago" C Trumpet, closely modeled after these legendary originals.
