The DT380 is a Destroyer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1984. The DT380 features a Gibson Explorer-style basswood body mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez V5 humbucking pickups, a Power Rocker synchronized tremolo bridge, knurled metal Tek Grip knobs and Smooth Tuner II machine heads.
The DT380 was offered with a number of arresting graphic print finishes: a black and white barbed wire, a red and black tiger stripe, a blue and yellow tiger stripe, a red and white rising sun Japanese flag image and a black with diagonal white stripes. The DT380 was discontinued after 1985.
